Airtel Awesome You - Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to the “Airtel Awesome You” Competition organized by Airtel (the “Organizer”). All participants in the Competition are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the same. By registering in the Competition, you agree to bind with all the decisions taken by the Organizer. The Organizer holds the right to use your contact details to contact you & promote brand services. The registrant cannot file any legal case on the Organizer for any promotional or other activity. The registrant has to follow & comply with the participation process listed below.

Participation Process;

  • • To apply, you need to register yourself at www.airtelawesomeyou.com.

  • • In order to get your registration approved, you need to be an Airtel customer and at least top up with Flex data bundle of GHC 1 or more.

  • • Once your registration is successful, you can submit your talent through the following formats YouTube video link, images & word doc.

  • • The entries will be judged by a panel and judges for shortlisting.

  • • Once the candidates are shortlisted then a round of SMS voting will be done to select the Top 10.

  • • Further voting will be carried out to make the citizens of the country decide on who should win this competition.

Prizes;

  • • First Prize is a cash sum of GHC 10,000

  • • Second Prize is a cash sum of GHC 3,500

  • • Third Prize is a cash sum of GHC 1,500

The Organizer shall have the right to use and/or store the video, image and audio materials sent or delivered (‘Recorded Material’) in perpetuity including on the internet, or in other media now known or hereafter developed worldwide, without compensation to the participants and subject to no limitation whatsoever. Organizer shall have the right to use the Recorded Material, either in its original version or as modified, for any promotional purposes without compensation to the participants and subject to no limitation whatsoever.

By entering into this Competition you irrevocably agree and consent that the Organizer may (and may authorize others to) photograph, video, film and/or record you and edit, adapt, alter, omit and otherwise use the resulting materials (the “Materials”), your name, likeness, image, actions, voice and/or biographical material in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in or in connection with the production, broadcast, marketing, promotion, publicity and exploitation of the Competition, in perpetuity without restriction. The Organizer will own all rights, title and interest in any Materials and the results and proceeds of the Materials in perpetuity.

GENERAL RULES OF THE CAMPAIGN


The Organizer reserves the right to amend and adjust the Competition format and timings as they deem fit. Although the Organizer has used reasonable efforts to ensure that all information and materials relating to the Competition are accurate, he shall not be liable for any inaccuracy or errors in such information and/or material. The Organizer, his agents and sub-contractors will also not bear responsibility for any loss or damage to a participant, whether caused by self or any third party, arising from matters outside the control of the Organizer, his agents and sub-contractors including but not limited to force majeure events such as acts of God, computer viruses, and power outages.

By participating in the Campaign, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which will be interpreted solely by the Organizer, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, modify or change these rules at any time during the Campaign. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the other provisions of these Terms and conditions and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid.
